Jack spent most of the morning combing his hair and selecting just the right shirt for his reunion with Loretta. It had been a little over a year since she accepted that overseas job and now she was back in New York. He figured she still loved him when she called to arrange a meeting. What he wasn’t expecting was the gift she set into his arms as she said, “This belongs to you.”
