I just now heard the awful news. I’m still processing what this means. Oh why?! Why Catherine? Why our Jotter Girl?! I’ll always remember her by the beautiful image of her wearing a flower on her ear – that says so much about her.

The world lost a gorgeous person inside and outside with a big heart and wonderful spirit. I am so saddened by the loss.

Not sure either whether any of her family/close friends will be reading this – if you are, please let us know where we could send my condolences and respect (if it’s appropriate to do so since I understand that Catherine wished to remain private online).

I am shocked and very saddened by the news as well (I found out first thing this morning on Facebook). Catherine was a witty, wise and talented woman, and she will be missed greatly.

May she rest in peace.

The world is truly a sadder place today. My heart goes out to her boys, and to those who were lucky to be called her friends.

I will miss her beautiful stories, her witty charm, and lovely comments.

I agree, as many would who followed her blog, “we lost a woman of amazing talents and beauty.”

My thoughts and prayers are with you all now.

I am so sorry that this as happened.

Sometimes life makes no sense at all.
